What the AI Finance Advisor can help with
This tool answers personal finance questions in the Indian context. It knows the current tax slabs for FY 2026-27, the deductions available under each regime, typical interest rate ranges, and how instruments such as PPF, EPF, NPS, ELSS and fixed deposits work.
Areas it covers well
| Topic | Examples of what you can ask |
|---|---|
| Tax planning | Which regime suits your income, how to use 80C and 80D fully, whether NPS is worth the extra 50,000 deduction, how HRA exemption is computed |
| Investing | Asset allocation for a given goal, index funds versus active funds, how many funds to hold, when to rebalance, SIP versus lump sum |
| Loans | Whether to prepay or invest, how to compare two lender offers, when a balance transfer makes sense, buying versus renting |
| Insurance | How much term cover you need, term versus endowment, health insurance sum insured, whether riders are worth it |
| Budgeting | Splitting income across needs, wants and savings, emergency fund sizing, getting out of credit card debt |
| Retirement | Corpus needed for a target lifestyle, NPS versus EPF versus mutual funds, drawdown strategy after retiring |
How to get a better answer
- Include numbers. "I earn 14 lakh and save 25,000 a month" gets a far more useful answer than "I want to invest".
- State your timeline. Advice for a three-year goal differs completely from advice for a twenty-year goal.
- Mention constraints. Existing loans, dependants, job stability and risk comfort all change the recommendation.
- Ask one thing at a time. A focused question produces a focused answer.
- Follow up. Use the chat widget in the corner to dig deeper into any part of the response.
Languages supported
Write in whichever language you are comfortable with. The assistant handles English, Hindi, Hinglish written in Roman script, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi. It replies in the same language by default, and you can override that with the dropdown above.
Where this tool stops. It provides general education, not regulated advice. It cannot see your bank statements, credit report or tax filings, and it does not know about circumstances you have not described. For decisions involving large sums, complex tax positions or estate planning, engage a chartered accountant or a SEBI-registered investment adviser.
Prefer to run the numbers yourself?
For precise figures rather than guidance, the calculators do the arithmetic directly: EMI Calculator, SIP Calculator, FD Calculator, GST Calculator and Income Tax Calculator.
