Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information financezy collects when you use financezy.online, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
The short version. Everything you type into our calculators stays in your browser and is never sent to us. We collect basic anonymous usage statistics, and we show advertising through Google AdSense which uses cookies. We do not sell data, because we barely collect any.
1. Information you give us voluntarily
The only time we receive personal information is when you choose to send it:
- Contact form. Your name, email address, chosen subject and message. We store these so we can reply and so we have a record of reported issues.
- AI assistant questions. The text of your question is transmitted to an AI provider to generate a response. See section 5 for details.
We do not ask for and do not want your PAN, Aadhaar, bank account numbers, card details or passwords.
2. Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, our server records basic technical information when a page loads. This is used to understand traffic patterns and to detect abuse:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system and device category
- The page you visited and the time of the visit
- The referring page, where one exists
This data is not linked to any identity and is not used to build a profile of you. We also use it to enforce a fair-use daily limit on the AI assistants.
3. What happens to your calculator inputs
This is worth stating explicitly. When you enter your salary into the Income Tax Calculator, your loan amount into the EMI Calculator, or your investment budget into the SIP Calculator, that number is processed entirely by JavaScript running in your own browser.
Nothing is transmitted to our server. Nothing is written to a database. Nothing is logged. When you close the tab, the figures are gone. You can verify this by opening your browser's network inspector while using any calculator.
4. How we use the information we do collect
- To reply to messages you send through the contact form
- To fix bugs and correct errors that readers report
- To understand which tools people find useful, so we know what to improve
- To detect and prevent abuse, spam and automated scraping
- To display relevant advertising through Google AdSense
- To comply with legal obligations where they apply
5. Third-party services
Google AdSense
We display advertising through Google AdSense to fund the site. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.

Google Analytics
Where enabled, Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate traffic patterns. It uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data such as page views, session duration and approximate geography. It does not receive anything you type into our calculators. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
AI providers
Our AI assistants are powered by third-party language model providers, which may include Google Gemini, Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Cohere, Together AI, DeepSeek or OpenRouter depending on configuration. When you submit a question, its text is sent to the configured provider to generate a response.
We do not send your IP address or any identifier alongside the question. We do not store the conversation. However, the provider processes the text under its own privacy terms, so please avoid including sensitive personal identifiers in AI conversations.
Content delivery networks
We load fonts and icon libraries from Google Fonts and Cloudflare's CDN for faster page loads. These services receive your IP address as part of serving the request, as is inherent to how the web works.
6. Cookies
The cookies used on this site fall into three categories:

Most browsers let you block cookies entirely or delete them at any time. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the contact form from working.
7. How long we keep data
- Contact form messages: retained while they remain useful for support and record keeping, then deleted.
- Server access logs: retained for a limited period for security and abuse prevention.
- Calculator inputs: never stored, so nothing to retain.
- AI conversations: not stored by us.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is inaccurate
- Delete the messages you have sent us
- Stop contacting you
Email support@financezy.online and we will action reasonable requests. Given how little we collect, in most cases the answer will be that we hold nothing beyond a contact form message.
9. Data security
The site is served over HTTPS. Database queries use prepared statements. Forms carry CSRF protection. Administrative access is password protected with hashed credentials.
That said, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure. We take reasonable precautions but cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
This site is intended for adults making financial decisions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through our contact form, email us and we will delete it.
11. External links
We link to third-party sites such as government portals, bank pages and reference sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing information with them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves or as regulations change. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
